Life is not a problem to be solved...

If you ever learn Price Action patterns & behavior, which shows you how the markets really work, you will stop searching for the Holy Grail. There is not one anyway. Does anyone think a leagendary trader like Paul Tudor Jones or Ed Seykota spent their time changing methods constantly or searching for an "edge" year after year? They both made $Billions over 4 decades. I followed Paul Tudor Jones for 4 decades through magazines like Stocks & Commodities and I never saw him once on CNBC or any other media outlet (back decades ago when I wasted time doing this). Just guessing, but if you don't make predictions, you would probably not be asked to appear in any of these media formats, would you? They "love" predictions (and stories). So does Wall Street.
Not picking on CNBC, but I believe what they really want on a show like that is to get eyeballs so their advertisers will spend lots of money with them. Last time I checked CNBC, owned by NBC Universal Media Group with $39 Bil in revenue in 2022, did not make or sell a product, or offer a service, except for advertising. Why would anyone think listenting to predictions all day would result in a skill set? Did you learn to drive a car like this? Or become a home builder? Or pilot? Lack of a real trading or investing skill set drives millions of traders to these media outlets every day. Every year. Btw, I am a twin engine pilot with over 3,000 hours, and built high end custom homes for over 3 decades.
What we're really talking about is the endless quest for more "information" that the average trader thinks will give him an edge, so he can become profitable and do trade for a living.
Trading in the Stock Market or Futures Market has only 3 parts. 1) Entry 2) Risk 3) Holding Winning Trades or Postitions.
1) Listening to others make predictions does not qualify for the Entry.
2) NOT using a stop is not a Risk strategy.
3) Not knowing an average move or knowing the potential resistance areas in def not a Winning trade management strategy.
Hey, this is just one man's opinion. I'm not a Financial Advisor. I'm just a guy who has not has a boss for the last 42 years (never will), who has made life an adventure. And I'll never stop!
